Somnus

Where sound becomes sensation.

Somnus turns an audio program into a physical one. Press play, and every connected device follows the track - rising with it, holding through the quiet parts, stopping when it stops. The soundtrack keeps time, so you don't have to.

Named for Somnus, the Roman god of sleep, who came to mortals in the dark and left them somewhere between waking and dreaming.

Audio-Synchronized

The soundtrack is the score. Somnus reads the program and drives every connected device against it, beat for beat, so a session plays out the way it was written instead of the way someone happens to be timing it.

Computer-Controlled

One interface, running on your own machine. Pair your devices, load a program, and let it conduct - everything addressed from the same place, on the same timeline, with nothing to juggle mid-session.

Purpose-Built Hardware

Popper Bot, Milker, and Outlet - built to be driven by Somnus rather than adapted to it. Each takes its cue from the same program, so they act as one instrument instead of three.
